MORE LIES......when will it stop!

This is posted on a site entitled...."answers to problems with Bayport Waterdogs
Please see my corrections in red as to what actually happened.

Sadly, however there is one person who is not happy with her dog or my services. I would like to take this opportunity to address my side of this story publically. You are welcome to read her blog at http//problemswithbayportwaterdogs.blogspot.com Unfortunately the dog has been put on Prozac and apparently he is aggressive.
The dog was put on for only one month about a year ago.
The more time and work you put into anything the more successful the end result will be. True, temperament to a degree in all animals is partially inherited from their parents but equally if not more formative is the training and environment that animal live in.. The Portuguese Waterdog is a very intelligent working dog not suited for every family, I am the first to tell people this before the interviewing process even begins.
When it was brought to my attention that this family was experiencing difficulties I offered my advice and eventually offered to take the dog back for re-training and assessment as per my contract. The offer was denied. When things got more difficult for this family they called our home a couple times but I happened to be on my honeymoon.
This is an absolute lie.....ALL PHONE CALLS WERE NOT RETURNED, EMAIL WAS NOT ANSWERED and initially we just wanted to let Pam know that there was a problem with one of her dogs.  Any reputable breeder would want to know we thought.  NO ADVICE WAS OFFERED....AND NEVER WAS THERE AN OFFER TO TAKE BACK OUR DOG FOR RE-TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT.
Consequently out of frustration I am sure their blog was posted. In the beginning it received many angry postings from all kinds of people who know and love my dogs. Also many people responded in anger who knew that a family pet should never be on Prozac! Many people who knew the dogs and knew my breeding program replied with corrections and the truth. Many people who knew Rosie know that she did not have 8 litters in 9 years. That is ridiculous if not impossible. My females have 3 litters and then retire and live with families, in fact almost all my dogs live in homes and are loved by their families. When such favourable positive replies flooded in to their blog they were blocked and continue to be blocked .
The only replies "blocked" on my blog were the ones attacking me as a person....if you look there are comments on there still that are favourable.
At this time all correspondences from myself my husband and my lawyer are not returned. I am concerned about the well being of this dog and think the best thing for him is for him to be returned to me.
THE ONLY CORRESPONDENCE I RECEIVED WAS FROM HER LAWYER  demanding that I take down my Blog due to false statements to which I requested clarification as to which statements specifically were false and received no follow-up. Again no responses were received from Pam or her Husband (other than through Lawyer) and NEVER was there an offer to take our dog back.
Everyone meeting my dogs love them for their friendliness and affectionate and happy nature. PWDs are not known for having allergies and I suspect his chewing of his paws is a nervous disorder not naturally occurring in PWDs.
Thank you to everyone for your support and encouragement. Thanks to all of you for taking the time to read this. Please address any unanswered questions or concerns directly to myself for clarification. It is always best to go directly to the directly to the source. I am transparent and have nothing to hide.
Sincerely yours,
Pam

I also now can understand why you may be having problems with Bayport. I have been dealing with Pam for a few years now. I have unwittingly been duped by her and it is my own fault for not being more assertive and investigating her kennel.
I was impressed with the breed and decided welome one into our family. I now have 2 dogs from Bayport and started my own kennel. My dogs were staying there for a short time last month. I went to visit them and found that they were being kept in an 8 x 10 shed with 8 other dogs. they were allowed out into a 6 x 10 pen for a short period every day. The other 8 dogs (her own as far as I know) apparently live their entire lives like this, or at least until she disposes of them. She does apparently over breed for the profit. I found 4 whelping boxes of puppies in her garage. These poor little dogs are kept pretty much permanently in a 4 x 4 closed-in box, with a lid, in the dark until they are sold. When we got our puppies she showed them to us in her house. We were decieved into believing they were well cared for and happy. Her dogs are not socialized in any way and are bound (by her apparent neglect)to have behaviours such as the biting that you are experiencing.
From what I can see now she is running what many people would call a puppy mill. One of our dogs is also from Rosie, she is 3 now and a good dog. Our other dog is 2 and has always had anxiety and fear issues. We have been diligently working with her on it and she is improving (though there was a set-back due to her last stay at Bayport). Pam needs to slow down and start being more compassionate with her dogs (she has far too many). Pam lives the good life, in her huge, very nice, well kept house while they are locked up in boxes and crates. It seems her dogs are treated possibly worse than cattle and her profits rule the day. I wish I had been more skeptical in the begining and not relied on the simple fact that she is a CKC member and her dogs are registered (or at least some of them are). The biggest reget I have is that she has a 1 year old puppy (Skylar)from my 3 year old. I have constant worry now about the psychological and physical well being of the poor puppy and what Pam will do with her.

I hope some day you both a free of all the hate and anger you hold inside. If you have personal issues that is your own problem and it is very sad to see people attack such a loving lady who does not run a puppy mill. She has been on pick a puppy and that show only goes to clean well kept places. I have been to many breeders over the years and have witnessed many puppy mills and places where you wouldn't want to take your shoes off. I hope some day you will realize how you are affecting Pam and her family and stop this non-sense. This is not an attack at you, and I hope to see this post doesn't get deleted because if you have the guts to post this you should let people respond in any way they wish.

Ya right, take a look on the ckc site and see how many litters she registers. Ive seen 5 litters at her place at one time and only 1 was ever registered with the ckc! shes a crook! her dogs are not socialized whith people, they were confined to crates in her garage and only get out when a prospective buyer comes to visit. Is it any wonder these dogs have issues? It all looks like a puppy mill, acts like a puppy mill,,,, Ya you need to wake up and smell the stink.
